Tomorrow,North Carolinawill vote on its first constitutional amendment - Amendment One. If this amendment passes, our Constitution will become discriminatory, the concept of separation of church and state will be violated, and families acrossNorth Carolina- regardless of their sexual orientation - will lose rights.
The term “domestic legal union” is NOT DEFINED inNorth Carolinalaw, and it will be up to the courts to define it, costingNorth Carolinapotentially billions in legal fees.
Please, DO NOT listen to the Republican Ethics Police - vote AGAINST this discriminatory amendment tomorrow.
